A gift that says I Love You!

This Valentines Days get your loved one something that really shows them that you love them…. A Home!!

This week I was able to experience a first, it was the first time I was home alone! Well our dog was home but he was not much of a talker or cuddler. As I sat alone in my house, I decided to work and keep myself busy. Then I looked up and had a crazy thought, what did my fireplace look like before we painted it? Having access to previously sold houses, I went into the listing and found the pictures of what the house previously looked like. I found myself getting very emotional.

Everything we have bought for our home, including our home, we have bought it with our family in mind. We bought a home that our family could grow into.  Our home had to have a dining room with plenty of room for our family to come over for the holidays and birthday parties. The kitchen opens up into the living room so that when I’m cooking I can see the kids. The kitchen island is where my son does his homework and where we eat pizza every Friday night. Travis built a mantel for our fireplace so that we could hang our Christmas stockings. Our current office will be turned into a nursery in the future and both kiddos have rooms that match their personalities.

A home is the most romantic thing you can get your loved one as it shows that you not only care for that one day (VDay) but for all 365 days that you spend with them.

PS – If you are looking to move or relocate to the Dallas Area, let me help you find your new home. I promise to make your experience a wonderful one and I will entertain you with all of my stories. 😊
